Lower Intermediate Class Enrolment
The Lower Intermediate Chinese Language Class is designed for students who have a foundational knowledge of Mandarin and wish to further develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This course offers a comprehensive and engaging approach to enhancing language proficiency through a variety of interactive and practical activities.
Students will participate in role-playing scenarios, group discussions, listening exercises, and written tasks, all aimed at building confidence and fluency. The course also incorporates multimedia resources, such as videos, audio clips, and reading materials, to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
In the first year of this class, students will deepen their understanding of familiar topics like Greetings, Introduction, Time and Date, Work, Weather, and Shopping, while gradually advancing to more complex subjects such as:

The class will also focus on developing students' ability to read and write short texts in Chinese, with an emphasis on expanding their vocabulary and comprehension skills. Lessons are designed to enhance pronunciation and tone accuracy, ensuring students become more confident Mandarin speakers.
An Expression of Interest **form** will need to be completed by interested students before each term to determine if there are enough enrolments for the class to proceed. Students will receive an email at least one week before the start of the term, confirming whether the class will run.
